Dear Mr. Emre Bakırcıoğlu,
I am sending you my life story. I hope you can read it without getting bored. I got married eleven years ago. Just like most woman, I was longing for a baby. We went to a great number of private hospitals in Istanbul. They gave us a report that said my husband could not have a baby. This shocked us deeply and made our life miserable. I felt as if my life had ended. I was dying for a baby. We never lost our faith in God. I was constantly consoling my husband. We interrupted the treatment for a while because we were exhausted. Then, one day I saw a doctor on TV and decided to see him, which I did. He also told me that I could not have a baby and devastated me once more. Every day, I prayed to God for a baby. I always kept my faith in God. I always consoled myself, saying I would certainly have a baby.
Meanwhile, a friend of mine came from the Netherlands; she had undergone IVF treatment and was eight months pregnant. She recommended that I see Dr. Emre Bakırcıoğlu. He told us, “You can have a baby.” My husband and I could not believe it. We started the treatment on the very same day. When he told us that we would not need to go through IVF we could not believe it, either. Six months later, some changes occurred in my husband and he started to produce sperm. We immediately decided to try IVF. Unfortunately, it did not work. We were devastated once more. I called my doctor. I said, “It didn’t and it won’t happen. God will not grant me this feeling,” and we accepted it. Dr. Emre Bakırcıoğlu said, “It will happen with the will of God, be patient,” and we continued the treatment. Three months later, I got pregnant naturally.I cannot describe my happiness at that moment.
Dr. Emre Bakırcıoğlu, I cannot thank you enough, no matter how many times I say it. I cannot explain how dear you are to us. I now have an angelic daughter thanks to God first and then, you. She is now fifteen months old. I hope that all the patients that are having the same problem will not lose faith and will continue their journey. May God grant this feeling to all who want it.
