I had my baby on the 12th attempt!

I am 38 years old. We have been married for seventeen years.We had gone from doctor to doctor to have a baby for fifteen years.We tried IVF eleven timesWe live in Belgium.Since we lived in Europe, which we assumed was the center of IVF technology, we always looked for a remedy there.Finally, upon the advice of our relatives, we came to Turkey.We said,”Let’s try it this time in our homeland.”We applied to the IVF Center of the German Hospital and achieved success on our first IVF attempt.We finally held Nuden in our arms, a girl of 2,800 grams and 48 centimeters.As we had our baby on our twelfth attempt after having gone from doctor to doctor in Europe, we always say, “We hit the bull’s eye.”
For many years, we were consumed both financially and morally.Now we are tired but very happy.»We want to share our story with you:
I got married eighteenyears ago in Elazığ.Afterwards, my husband went to Belgium.In the meantime, I had some gynecological problems: cysts, etc.I had been in and out of doctors’ offices for three years.Finally, I moved to Belgium to be with my husbandand started seeing doctors there.They informed me that my tubes were blocked and I that I was suffering from constantly developing cysts.In addition to four laparoscopic surgeries, I also underwent several minor operations.I got pregnant once but it ended in miscarriage.Of course, it was a miracle for me to even be able to get pregnant.We tried three more times,but it never happened.I gave up hope.I was depressed.I had gained weight and lost my body’s resistance.I really felt exhausted.My relatives in Turkey said, “There are very successful centers here, try here one last time.”I first made a phone call and talked with Drs. Murat Berksoy and Halit Fırat Erden.They gave me so much confidence that I thought, “It will happen this time.” I even felt pregnant.We took a plane to Istanbul and ended up directly in the IVF Center at the German Hospital.Again hoping for the best, we started preparations with the doctors who had given me so much confidence over the phone.Microinjection was performed. Four high-quality embryos were obtained and one of them adhered. We finally succeeded!However, we were still very cautious.The whole team was fluttering around me.The psychologist, family physician, secretary, the nurse: all were taking care of me.But I was feeling very tired and very stressed.I had a very difficult pregnancy because of my fears and stress. Finally, Nuden was born.Her name means “a new era, a beginning” because our life began afresh with her.
In our case, there were both male and female factors. My intrauterine membrane was very thin and the baby could not hold on to it.The doctors arranged the entire treatment accordingly and I got pregnant.I was under the constant observation of my gynecologist, psychologist, and family doctor throughout the pregnancy. This is very important because all factors combined to ensure conception and the smooth progression of my pregnancy, as well as the healthy birth of the baby.If my blood glucose value increased or if I got stressed, I might have lost the baby. In other words, with such treatments you have to go through an extremely healthy pregnancy in order to finally hold your baby in your arms.I was overweight and susceptible to diabetes.Throughout the pregnancy, I was constantly being monitored for obesity, diabetes and overall psychological health.I returned back to Belgium 3 months after getting pregnant.However, I was not feeling good there and I immediately returned back to Turkey.So, I was in Istanbul throughout my pregnancy, under close observation of all my doctors and we ended it happily all together.I wish the same to all who want to have a baby.
