A Dream Comes True

I write my story to express my gratitude and happiness and say a big “thank you” to my doctor Guvenc Karlikaya so that our dream came true after 10 years of going to doctors. I am 39 years old and I have seven IVF attempts in other clinics and only once had a biochemical pregnancy to six weeks. I wrote an email to Dr. Karlikaya and he explained what it recommended to do in my case. We decided to come to the appointment with him and therefore he recommended us to do a frozen transfer. I did not want frozen transfer, but he explained that it is a higher success rate last year. Did stimulation, which in my opinion was very well conducted, we got eggs, fertilized them and froze on day three . Then rested one month-thawed several grew them to the fifth day and there was a biochemical pregnancy. I was pretty pessimistic and desperate, but doctor Karlikaya gave me hope and told me that we have re-frozen embryos, and that he wants to try them instead of doing new stimulation. We did a second frozen transfer and then pregnancy occurs. I’ll never forget the day that my doctor Karlikaya said- “a baby, Rejoice.” In the beginning I had a hard pregnancy, but thanks to his the advice that he sent by e-mail, I was able to keep the baby. We had now our Istanbul baby daughter, who now makes our lives happier. I went through many operations and manipulations through years of IVF treatment and thanks to Dr. Karlikaya and team clinic Bahchetsi I’m a happy mother.
