What Is Day 5 Blastocysts Implantation?
In IVF procedure, sperms are taken from the male on the day of egg collection from the expectant mother, and microinjection is performed in the laboratory environment.
After the microinjection procedure, the embryo is examined every day and the cell number is evaluated. Embryos formed on the 5th day are separated as inner cell and outer cell layer and become a liquid-filled structure. This is called a blastocyst.
